The mid & downstream segments and Mist
Over the past months, our team has been working on improving the mid and downstream segments of Mist making sure that the operators can easily build their emissions inventories and be able to make informed decisions in planning their abatement projects.
This project has been funded by the Oil & Gas Climate Initiative and has resulted in improvements in ease-of use, inclusion of new emission source categories, and updates to existing ones, always in alignment with OGMP 2.0.
Here is a more detailed list of the major updates of this release.
New emission source categories:
- Gas analysers
- Gas permeation in distribution networks
Updates to existing categories:
- Fugitive leaks: updates in emission category setup for transmission and distribution operations.
- Reciprocating and centrifugal compressors: new abatement options added.
- Unique incidents: new calculation methods added.
